How to increase our concentration simple tips

When we do an activity, we have to do it with full concentration. It doesn't matter how long we spend on it; it matters how much focus we have on it. In this article, will see how to focus fully on our work without paying attention to any distractions.

When we do a task with full attention, the output is of excellent quality and improves our skills. Due to our distraction, we were not able to complete any work and did not get quality results.

People usually do their work in shallow ways, and if start doing it in depth, will surely get better results.

Deep work is very difficult, but it is good if develop the skill. In 1970, Bill Gates completed coding his first BASIC software program in eight weeks.

He puts his full attention into this coding. He’s done it in eight weeks without talking to anyone; it's called deep work.

Bill Gates made several million dollars with that basic software program. He had this success because he was able to give it his full attention.

But based on the current environment, no one can fully concentrate on doing a job. The reason is the mobile phone. When we are working on something and suddenly a notification comes on our mobile, we pick up the phone to see what it is and get immersed in it. We forget our work and keep using our phones.

I am going to give you some tips on how to do deep work in less time.

Myelin workout

For example, when we are studying, we should ignore any distractions and give our full attention to the study. Our brain is also a muscle. When we give our full attention to a task, our brain relies on our myelin tissue.

If this myelin tissue is increased, our focus will be greater, and we will be able to complete big work in less time.

Keep in mind that no matter how small a task you do, give it your full attention. When you do this, it becomes a habit. To what extent does this habit help? No matter how difficult the task is, you will get it done easily. Shallow workers can take several days to complete this same work.

Attention residue

Research was conducted, in which people were divided into two groups: The researchers first asked the group to add puzzles. Then the second group was given small tasks before adding the puzzle.

At the end of the study, the first group completed their work early, and the second group completed it slightly late. The reason is that the second group was given some small tasks before adding puzzles, and their attention was on those tasks, so they could not give full attention to this.

So even if we do this work, we should make arrangements in advance and do the work so that there is no distraction.

Routine

As we do our daily work carefully, it becomes a routine, and after a few days, it becomes a habit. Similarly, with concentration, we cannot give full attention to everything in one day, so we have to increase our concentration little by little every day.

If you hear the lives of successful people, they follow certain habits in their lives to become successful. They follow some good habits to succeed and work hard for it every day.

Monastic approach

For example, if you ask UPSC Exam SSC Exam toppers, they would have used this monastic approach without even knowing it.

This approach means focusing on something for hours at a time. It's about going it alone and giving them full attention to get the work done.

have to create a separate place for doing a job, go there to do that job, pay full attention, finish that job, and move out of that place.

 Timing

Follow the deep work approach and do your hard work. Morning is the right time for that. When you wake up in the morning, you do your hard work, and your concentration is high. Then you can do normal work in the evening.

 Shut down

After we finish our deep work, we need to give our brains a rest. Whatever hard work we do, we need to give our brain a break to recover; otherwise, it will only cause us more stress.

Examples We all go to work, and when we come home, we should forget about it and have fun, but if we keep thinking about work after coming home, then we can't relax.
